He married Elizabeth Drueppel on December 9, 1881 in Washington County, Nebraska. Elizabeth was born February 1, 1853 in Fürstenberg, Westfalen, Prussia. Elizabeth was the daughter of Adam Drueppel and Maria Margaretha Mueller. Elizabeth died April 28, 1922 in Kennard, Nebraska at 69 years of age. Her body was interred May 1922 in Kennard, Nebraska Kennard Cemetery.

7 v. Margaretha Misfeldt, was born July 29, 1877 in Washington, Nebraska. Margaretha died August 11, 1877 in Washington, Nebraska at less than one year of age. Her body was interred August 1877 in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Note: After the death of Fritz Misfeldt's first wife, Bertha, Fritz was left with five chlidren, ages 11 to 6 weeks to raise. Fritz was unable to care for baby Otto, and allowed the Asmus Asmussen family, who had no children, to adopt Otto.

11 ix. Frederic Misfeldt, was born February 1885 in Washington, Nebraska. Frederic died February 1885 in Washington, Nebraska at less than one year of age.
12 x. Minnie Wilhelmina Misfeldt, was born January 26, 1887 in Washington, Nebraska. Minnie died September 23, 1957 at 70 years of age. She married Leon S. Hitchcock.
